Baja Moda

The Baja Moda project explores two key aspects of contemporary Latin American
culture: identity and resistance. Pablo López Luz recounts that while working
on another project throughout Latin America, he began to document the facades of
businesses and shoe stores that were still standing, unchanged over time,
unconcerned with the trends of modern and globalized culture, apparently in
opposition to the economic trend of manufacturing abroad.
